Founded in 1874 by Mitchell and Amelia Tyler, Tyler sits less than three miles from Aylesford within Ayles County. Although small, Tyler boasts its own police and fire departments, upscale shopping, and serves as a bedroom community for Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD, and many other cities and towns within the D.C. metropolitan area.

O'Dell's: An Irish pub in Northern Virginia, O'Dell's was founded by Patrick "Trick" O'Dell and his wife Moira in 1974. Now operated by their daughter Bailey, O'Dell's is more than just a pub, serving traditional Irish and American fare.
Cleo's: A New Age shop to the general public and a Wiccan store to those in the know, Cleo's is owned by simply Cleo.
Cups of Cake: A boutique cupcake bakery founded by Gayle Nalley and her daughter-in-law Alexis.
